When it comes to running a successful business, taking the cheap route will cost you.
I’ve been trying to think of a nicer way to say that but there just isn’t.
And the reason I know that is because I’ve done it. 🙋🏼♀️
And every single time I’ve regretted it.
Like the time I bought a cheap tripod for my desk and the first time I used it, one of the legs broke in half.
I was using it for a presentation and had to think fast so I chewed a piece of gum hoping it would stick the pieces together long enough to get me through. 💪🏻 (It didn’t.)
The whole time I was kicking myself for not making a bigger investment in my business. 💻
Have you ever done that? Gone the cheap route and regretted it?
Maybe you’ve even skimped on your website and know deep down inside it deserves better. Here are some reasons why you might not be seeing the revenue results you want from your site:
1. Cost vs. Investment At the end of the day, we all know what happens when we cut corners. We get low-level quality, things that don't work right, and eventually it breaks. Is that what you want your visitors landing on when it's decision time to work with you?
2. The SEO factor While you might get a pretty site there's so much more than meets the eye when it comes to creating a website. Do they know about keywords? Page titles? Meta description? Alt-tagging your images? User flow? Call-to-action?
3. Help when things go wrong. What happens when you don't understand something on the back end? Or you deleted something and can't fix it? Will they be there for you when you click something and you can't find your site anymore??
If this all sounds too familiar, let’s chat. I love talking website design, especially with service-based female entrepreneurs.
